The Floyd and Bessie Johnson Foundation was founded to meet the needs of students in the community, particularly at risk students. Without access to tutoring and career services, many of these students are unable to finish school and continue to college. We aim to provide affordable assistance to students so that they can have a brighter future.
Our tutoring services for low-income students are paid for by grants or generous donors. Without the help of donors and volunteers, we wouldn’t be able to meet the needs of many of the students in our community. Our volunteers at F & B Johnson Foundation are the reason we’re able to help students across the community. Each of our volunteers has a passion for helping students, whether they’re working behind the scenes or they’re tutoring students in math or English.
